Nadzaladevi District (old name Nakhalovka) is in northern Tbilisi on the left bank of the Mtkvari, home to 168,728 people (Geostat 2024). It covers Nadzaladevi proper (Old Nadzaladevi, Avshniani, Ghrmaghele), Sanzona, Lotkini and Temqa with the Zghvisubani microdistricts near the Tbilisi Sea. Metro stations Nadzaladevi, Guramishvili, Ghrmaghele and Sarajishvili serve the district; the main streets are Tsotne Dadiani Street, Guramishvili Avenue and Chkondideli Street. Temqa and Guramishvili Avenue are lined with Soviet high-rise blocks, while Old Nadzaladevi and Lotkini are mostly private houses.
