Garadagh is Baku's largest district, running along the Caspian from Shubani and Lokbatan through Sahil, Sangachal and Gobustan settlement to Alat. It is home to the Sadarak trade centre, the Alat Free Economic Zone and the Port of Baku, the Sangachal oil and gas terminal and the Gobustan rock-art reserve. In October 2026 asking prices for flats averaged about 958 USD/m2 (182 listings), among the lowest in Baku; private houses about 518 USD/m2 (156 listings). Most listings are in Lokbatan, where a two-room flat rents for about 235 USD a month (27 listings), the cheapest rent in Baku. Other settlements are Qizildash, Korgoz, Puta, Umid and Shubani; people mostly trade private houses (heyet evi), plots along the Lokbatan-Gobu road, furniture and appliances from Sadarak, and look for jobs at the Alat port.
