How the calculation works

Three modes. 'X% of Y': result = Y × X / 100. 'X is what % of Y': result = X / Y × 100. 'Change': result = (Y − X) / X × 100, where positive is an increase and negative a decrease. Enter two numbers and pick a mode.

Worked example

15% of 200 is 30. 30 is 15% of 200. Going from 200 to 260 is a +30% increase. All three questions are answered in one tool.
