Percentage calculator
This free percentage calculator does three things: it finds a percent of a number, works out what percent one number is of another, and finds the percent change between two numbers. It's handy for discounts, taxes, growth and statistics.
How the calculation works
Three modes. 'X% of Y': result = Y × X / 100. 'X is what % of Y': result = X / Y × 100. 'Change': result = (Y − X) / X × 100, where positive is an increase and negative a decrease. Enter two numbers and pick a mode.
Worked example
15% of 200 is 30. 30 is 15% of 200. Going from 200 to 260 is a +30% increase. All three questions are answered in one tool.
