Bank of Georgia Expands Multilingual Banking Services for Diverse Customers

Bank of Georgia has intensified its commitment to making financial services accessible to multilingual customers through significant institutional changes. The bank recognizes that providing equitable banking access to all customers regardless of language preference is a core operational priority.

In a substantial language expansion initiative, customers can now access Bank of Georgia's digital and physical services in Azerbaijani, Armenian, and Turkish. These languages have been integrated into the mobile banking application, internet banking platform, automated teller machine networks, and self-service terminals, enabling transactions in customers' preferred languages.

To strengthen regional presence and customer convenience, Bank of Georgia has established new branches in Sadakhlo, Dmanisi, Qabala, and Ninotsminda. These facilities deliver comprehensive banking services including account opening, card issuance, international money transfers, deposit management, and various financial transactions. According to Tinatin Neparidze, the bank's segment manager, this regional expansion particularly benefits customers who previously required travel to major cities to access banking services, making financial products substantially more convenient.

The institution has prioritized local employment by recruiting multilingual staff members fluent in Armenian and Azerbaijani, ensuring customers receive personalized service in their native language. Beyond geographic expansion, Bank of Georgia continues developing specialized products designed for specific professional groups. Teachers, for instance, access a dedicated teacher card that streamlines daily banking operations while providing exclusive discounts and special offers from partner organizations.

Neparidze emphasized that multilingual services extend far beyond interface translation, representing a comprehensive customer-centric approach. The bank remains committed to further enhancing accessibility and plans to introduce additional innovations in coming months. Tamar Nozadze, head of personal banking marketing, reaffirmed the institution's dedication to ensuring financial services remain equitable for all customers while providing practical support tailored to their daily needs through continuously evolving, accessible banking solutions.
