Pregnancy calculator
This free pregnancy calculator works out your estimated due date, current gestational age, trimester and days to go from the first day of your last menstrual period (LMP). Choose your country — Georgia, Azerbaijan or Armenia — and it also shows how long statutory pregnancy and maternity leave lasts and when it starts and ends.
Leave lengths: Labour Code of Georgia art. 37, Azerbaijan art. 125, Armenia art. 172 (checked 2026-10).
How it's calculated
The due date uses Naegele's rule: 280 days (40 weeks) from the first day of the LMP. Maternity leave is counted from that date. In Azerbaijan (Labour Code art. 125) it is 126 days: 70 before birth and 56 after; for a complicated or multiple birth the post-birth part is 70 days (140 in total). In Armenia (art. 172) it is 140 days (70 + 70), 155 for a complicated delivery and 180 for a multiple birth. In Georgia (art. 37) maternity leave is 126 days (143 for complications or twins) and the mother splits it between pregnancy and after the birth as she chooses. These are averages; confirm exact dates with your doctor and employer.
Example
If the last period started on 1 January, the estimated due date is around 8 October. In Azerbaijan maternity leave would start around 30 July (70 days before) and run to about 3 December (56 days after).
