Vake is one of Tbilisi's most sought-after and most expensive neighbourhoods. Vake District covers Vake itself, Bagebi, the Nutsubidze Plateau, the Vazha-Pshavela quarters, Tkhinvala and the hillside villages of Tskneti, Agaraki, Akhaldaba, Betania and Kveseti. Its main street is Ilia Chavchavadze Avenue, which ends at Vake Park (opened 1946), where a cable car climbs to Turtle Lake. Vake proper has no metro; the district has two Saburtalo-line stations, State University and Vazha-Pshavela. Far more flats are offered for rent than for sale here, and office space for rent is plentiful. In September-October 2026 listings the median asking price in Vake was about 2,780 USD/m², ~3,000 on Chavchavadze Avenue, ~2,100 in Bagebi and ~1,640 on the Nutsubidze Plateau. A 2-room flat (one bedroom) rents for about 1,100 USD a month. Tskneti is mostly private houses and land. Posting on Bazarla is free and you deal with the owner directly.
