Georgia: car loans to people earning in lari are normally issued in GEL. The National Bank caps the payment at 25% of net income for borrowers earning under ₾1,500 a month (the threshold rises from 2027).

How it's calculated
Loan amount = car price − down payment. The payment uses the annuity formula: amount × monthly rate / (1 − (1 + monthly rate)^−months), where the monthly rate = annual rate / 12. You pay the same amount each month. A one-time bank fee reduces the money you actually receive, so the effective annual rate is higher than the nominal one — the calculator shows it separately.

Georgia: a ₾30,000 car with 20% down → ₾24,000 loan at 15% over 48 months: about ₾668 a month, ~₾8,060 total interest. Armenia: a ֏5,000,000 loan at 14.4% over 60 months: about ֏117,400 a month. Rates are examples, not market averages.

Enter the car price and the down payment as a percentage — the calculator works out the loan amount. With 0% the whole price is financed.
What is the effective annual rate?
The real yearly cost of the loan including fees. For example, 15% nominal with a 1% one-time fee over 48 months comes to about 16.7% effective.
What currency are car loans in Georgia?
For people earning in lari, normally GEL. Since August 2025 the National Bank of Georgia allows unhedged foreign-currency loans only above ₾750,000.
Can I get a car loan with no down payment in Armenia?
Some banks offer it: e.g. one 2026 offer was 14.4% nominal, no down payment, up to 7 years. Check current terms with the bank.
