Khachmaz is the district centre of northern Azerbaijan's Khachmaz District, on the Qudyalchay river about 163 km north-west of Baku on the Baku-Derbent railway, with a population of about 43,000 (2024). Its property market is mostly private houses with yards, in town (H. Aslanov street, Maktabli street, Heydar Aliyev avenue) and in villages such as Ahmadoba, Godakli and Agaliq. In summer the busiest listings are daily rentals at the Caspian beach resorts of Nabran and Khudat. The district grows apples and vegetables and the town has had a large cannery since the 1950s, so land, orchards and farm produce change hands too. The State Flag Square with an 85 m flagpole stands on Baku avenue. Browse and post free ads for property, cars, phones, jobs and services in Khachmaz on Bazarla.
