- How do I check that a plot in Ozurgeti is properly registered before buying?
- In Georgia land ownership is recorded at the National Agency of Public Registry (NAPR). Before you pay, ask the seller for a current extract showing the cadastral code, the registered owner and any mortgage or dispute noted against the plot. The sale is signed with both parties present and ID at a Public Service Hall, which then updates the registry in your name.
- What should I know about land category and building on a plot in Ozurgeti?
- Plots in Georgia carry a designated land category — most around Ozurgeti are agricultural, while others are marked for residential or non-agricultural use. If you plan to build, confirm the category and check building rules and any permit requirements with the Ozurgeti municipality, since these are set locally rather than by Bazarla. Ask the seller which category the plot holds.
- Are utilities available on plots in Ozurgeti?
- It depends on the plot. Land closer to Ozurgeti town and existing roads is more likely to have electricity, water and gas nearby, while farther farmland may need connections arranged. Ask the seller directly through the app what is already on-site or at the boundary before you decide — every listing here lets you message the owner with no middleman.
